Offering quality child care programs for children ages 2 ½ weeks through 12 years.

The Dewitt Christian Child Development Center has been newly remodeled and updated. We are completely state-licensed with an experienced, accredited and caring staff. We offer a bright, clean and positive atmosphere to stimulate learning and a sense of security.

Our program provides:

  • A nurturing home away from home.
  • Developmentally based enrichment and education.
  • Pre-school and pre-K curriculum focused on Kindergarten readiness.
  • Latch-key for before and after school care with a thematic activity plan each week.
  • Summer Day Camp for children ages 6 - 12.
  • Christian curriculum focused on developing the whole child in these areas:
    • Physical
    • Social/Emotional
    • Cognitive
    • Spiritual
  • A variety of learning stations are utilized including:
    • Music
    • Art
    • Story telling with puppets and flannel graphs
    • Reading
    • Group and individual activities
    • Indoor and outdoor play areas

Fee Schedule 2002-2003

Full time childcare weekly rates:
$170.00 Infant care (2 ½ weeks - 1 year)
$155.00 Toddler care (1 year - 2 ½ years)
$140.00 Junior Preschool (2 ½ years - 3 years)
$140.00 Preschool (3 - 5 years)
Latch Key weekly rates:
$110.00 Before/after school Kindergarten
$85.00 Before school Kindergarten
$25.00 School age before school
$35.00 School age after school
$17.00/day Half day off
$25.00/day Whole day off
$125.00/week. Summer Camp

Annually all childcare and latch key children are assessed a $50.00 registration fee.

Summer Camp only children are assessed a $25.00 registration fee.

Development Goals

Our goal is to teach your child through:

Educationally:

Alphabet and phonics, numbers, colors, stimulating inquisitiveness, comparing shapes and sizes, and kindergarten readiness.

Socially:

Developing good relationships with other children, sharing, self control, listening skills, adapting to change without fear, and secure, happy days.

Spiritually:

Bible stories with life application, the life of Christ, good decision-making techniques regarding right and wrong, and basic Judeo-Christian principles of honesty, integrity and morality.
